What is valet trash?

Doorstep trash pickup, five nights a week — no dumpster runs.

Valet trash is a resident amenity provided by your community. Instead of carrying trash to a dumpster or compactor, you simply place a tied bag outside your front door during the scheduled window. A uniformed Roze Green attendant collects it that evening and properly disposes of it on your behalf. It's clean, quiet, and designed to make apartment living easier.

Collection Schedule

Service nights: Sunday – Thursday

Set-out window: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Pickup begins: 8:00 PM

No service on Friday or Saturday. Bags placed after 8:00 PM may be missed.

Container Guidelines

  • • Use the valet trash container provided by your community (if applicable)
  • • Keep the lid closed at all times
  • • Place directly outside your front door — never in walkways
  • • Store the container inside your unit between service nights

Bagging Requirements

  • • Use sealed, tied 13-gallon kitchen bags
  • • Double-bag wet or leaking items
  • • Maximum 15 lbs per bag
  • • No loose trash — bagged items only

Recycling Information

Where offered, place clean recyclables in a clearly marked separate bag.

Accepted:

Paper, cardboard, plastics #1 & #2, aluminum, glass

Not accepted:

Plastic bags, food-soiled items, styrofoam

Holiday Schedule

No service on:

  • • Thanksgiving Day
  • • Christmas Day
  • • New Year's Day

Service resumes the next regularly scheduled night.

  • Electronics & appliances
  • Furniture, mattresses, large items

Frequently asked resident questions

When do I place my trash outside?+

Set your tied trash bag outside your front door between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on scheduled service nights (Sunday through Thursday). Collection begins at 8:00 PM. Bags placed out after 8:00 PM may be missed.

What if my trash was missed?+

Please report a missed collection within 12 hours by calling (657) 560-9908 or emailing admin@rozegreenvalet.com. Include your community name, building/unit number, and a brief description so we can resolve it the same evening when possible.

What items cannot be collected?+

We cannot accept loose trash, hazardous materials (paint, batteries, chemicals), electronics, large furniture, mattresses, construction debris, pet waste outside of sealed bags, or anything over 15 lbs. Please contact your property's office for bulk-item disposal options.

Do I need to use a specific container?+

Yes. Please use the valet trash container provided by your community (if applicable). Lid must be closed. If your community does not provide a container, place tied bags directly outside your front door — never in the breezeway or walkway.

Is recycling collected separately?+

Recycling collection depends on your community's program. Where offered, place clean recyclables in a clearly marked separate bag next to your trash. Check your move-in packet or contact your property office to confirm.

What about holidays?+

Roze Green observes Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Service resumes the next regularly scheduled night. Your property office will share advance notice for any schedule adjustments.

How do I report a damaged container?+

Email admin@rozegreenvalet.com or call (657) 560-9908 with your community and unit number. We typically replace damaged containers within one service week.
